info at bottom Mid March update: Music Video bonanza!
Just finished a music video for an opera singer, Jennifer
Diamond--I think that was the coldest I've ever been while performing!
2008 update: 2008 is looking good! Work

Early August update: Thanks to everyone who came out to see The Hand
and The Hen! Good bye Christine--I would love to see you again, but I have a feeling that's not to be!
And special
thanks to M & D for the Pomegranate Martinis at the "cast" party!
Late-July update: Rehearsals start
soon for "The Birthday Party;" Just booked a festival bound short!
Mid-July update: The Hand and the Hen
open this weekend--my "OOB" debut! I am a lead in The Hen, thank you very much!
And I just booked Lulu in The Birthday
Party--what fun that will be!
Mid-June update: Exciting news coming for the end of July! Learning more
in rehearsals than I ever thought I could! Medusa premier this weekend! Woo hoo!
Latest May update: One of
the most fun things about the biz, next to the overall great people you get to meet, is the brain work! IE reading plays I
probably should have read in high school, but really can't appreciate til now. And I am proud to say that this week I not
only (finally!) read the Scottish play, I did a lovely-if-I-do-say-so-myself Shakespearean monologue for a theatre audition.
Late May update: Some more clips are on line:
A bunch of projects are in the offing. . .meanwhile
I had the most fun audition. Unfortunately the BD did not specify "stand up comedy necessary" so while I didn't bring much
in that vein I had a riot watching the other comediennes!
April update: After a fab and relaxing vacation, I come
home to see the Medusa trailer is on on line--woo hoo! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQDBKANixrI
And here is the link
to part of the short we just did: http://films.thelot.com/films/26246 (yes it's compressed and the format is slightly
warped--it's not your monitor!)
Late March update: I just finished a fabulous staged reading with the most fabulous
cast (and crew)! of Kat Katsanis' "Chocolate Baklava." Pix will be up soon. I guess I need to do more theater--it was great
fun, and the reviews were good!
Oh, did I just get back from a great shoot! "A Cup of Tea" was so much fun to
work on (despite the coatless scenes in this frigid weather). I have to say I think this was fabulous casting--family photos
to follow! Just booked a staged reading of a Greek family play--I think it will also be a lot of fun!
Really late-January
update: It's nice to be wanted; to have booked the part; to know that you are the one--even when logistics get in the way.
. .
Mid-Jan update #2: Just finished my first "live" "theatrical" performance! It was with the Purrformers (www.thepurrformers.com)
and created, produced and directed by the fabulous Geraldine Winters. See the pix page for some photos!
Mid-Jan update:
Well, I just finished the voice over; believe me by the end of the day my voice was FULL of GRAVITAS and BREATHE! And my
throat's a little sore today--but that could just be from my celebratory melon margharita! I also think I just booked my
first theatre gig *thud*; and I did just book the lead in a festival bound short with a great little twist at the end; I
get to be the loving wife. . . . .
First 2007 update:
I think I have a new record: three commercial auditions in a row today! How do I do it!
Late December update:
Just agreed to do a voice over/narrative for an educational/infotainment video. It is not as easy as it seems! It will be
a fabulous attempt in applying all my voice studies! Can you say "breath?" "Gravitas?"
Mid-December update (2): Just booked a supporting role in a pilot called "The Adventures of Shirley." This
will definitely be blast, as I get to play a drunk bimbo (that would be bimbo as in suitable for television bimbo)! Bring
on the fishnets! I also booked a couple of ling gigs that unfortunately the old "scheduling difficulties" came into play.
It was great to book them though! Mid-December update (1): Finished the
diet aid commercial--the teleprompting went well; actually, all went well until the "spin" at the end--I really need to take
that beginning ballet course! And Medusa was submitted to the Tribeca Film Festival--yay!
Mid-November update: Just booked a what-has-to-be-fun
commercial for a diet aid company. And I might get to do it in Spanish again! Early November update: Just shot which should be a beautiful eastern-seaboard ad campaign;
of course the one time I don't bring my camera with me, we were in the coolest location--the Amtrak rail yards--those trains
are monstrous! Another nice moment--even at auditions, I'm always
learning something. I was just at a print go-see, and it was so helpful to see how others interpret the photog's instructions.
Late October update: Miami was fab,
as usual. Just finished my first interactive/dvd shoot, which was for a pharmaceutical product. That was a lot of fun, great
cast and crew! Mid-October
update: Yes there is one! Scene study has been rewarding, and I have had a bunch of fun auditions and nice bookings, but more
on all this when I get back from sunny Miami!
Mid-September update: Well, it's September, so it's back to school, and like so many kids, I just don't get to take
all the classes I want! I think if I had about 28 hours in the day, I'd manage to take them all, but for now I'm back to scene
study at T Schreiber with Lynn Singer, which has been great so far.
I have a commercial print job this week, and
booked and interesting "tough yet tender" FBI agent supporting role in an interesting indy film.
Second September
update: Well I know those of you in the Stafford, Virginia area have seen my Cash Point commercial, which started running
Monday! As my coach says, it's a perfect example of my St Pauli persona (I'm not exactly sure what that means, but I think
it has something to do with peppy)! When I figure out more of this website, I will put up a link.
The first September
update! I did two jobs yesterday-gotta love it! One of them was just too cool. Crew was all women (sans one man, who was out
of the room for most of the shoot) and they were such pleasure to work with! And I got to speak Hebrew--I didn't think I'd
get to use that "special skill" so soon! We filmed in the mikvah of the Chabad of the Upper East side, which I had never seen
before. This is one cool mikvah! Or should I say warm, as the water was comfortably heated! Can't wait to see how it came
out!
Almost the latest August update: Well, my streak of one-takes is still going strong!
